Recently, I booted up Pokémon Bank to check on the status of my hard-earned roster of monsters. Every so often I would remember that I had let my subscription to the service lapse for an uncomfortably long period of time. I stopped paying for it long before it even enetered its eternal free trial period. So, now, I was quite curious (and a bit concerned) to find out if any of those freaks still remained in their cloud storage or if their data had been wiped forever. Miraculously, when I finally was able to log in to it, I found that all my Pokémon had been kept intact. I've thought to make a list of this collection I've amassed over multiple generations of games. Some of these Pokémon may have interesting origins, especially those with Original Trainers other than myself. Others in the collection date back to the Game Boy Advance games, and have been with me for 20+ years. Of course, the third generation of games brought with them an infamous "cut-off point:" Pokémon obtained in the prior two generations of games could not be traded up to future games. (Although, I believe when these first two generations were re-released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, Pokémon caught in those versions could in fact be transferred foward in some way). Many of the Pokémon I've caught over the nine generations of games have also been scattered to the wind, be it to My Pokémon Ranch, traded to friends or strangers via Wonder Trade, transferred across generations via features like Pal Park, or simply stuck on their original game files. Thus, this list will at first detail those I have in Pokémon Bank, which is apparently 849 in total according to the tally it has provided. I'd love to check up on other sources and catalog fragments of my collection found there too; for instance, I'd love to check out my copies of Pokémon Gold Version or Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness and see what the hell I was getting up to there. I have not made use of the Pokémon Home service as of yet. The amount of details to enter in is staggering so this will likely always be ongoing project (and to what end!!!) but please enjoy.

I've also gotten back into Pikmin Bloom as of late after a long hiatus. I started playing that game on my cellphone pretty soon after its release in late 2021. My job had me on my feet quite a bit then so it was a good companion. Alas! Nowadays the terrors of sedentary work have made themselves clear! Regardless, I've assigned the application a prime spot on my cellphone's second page and have been making regular use of it. It's so charmy! I've thought to catalog my Pikmin squad here, like with the Pokémon above. I won't include location they were discovered but will include other bespoke information!
